It is a company composed of dancers selected by the CEO, María Avilés, to represent the company in the different artistic activities, works and national tours. Among the most successful shows that the company made is the show “I’m dying to be me”, with presentations sold in Santa Cruz, Tarija, Cochabamba and La Paz. This year, the company was the only guest on the “THE ROOKIES BOLIVIA TOUR” tour in Santa Cruz, La Paz and Cochabamba.

Minina Dance Company differentiates itself in its shows by capturing messages from real life, arriving to make a mark of it. The selected subjects many times have marked the life of the own dancers and by consequence, the public that assists.

The company is made up of trained dancers and professionals in the area. The members to enter the company have had to go through different courses within the Minina Dance Programs, where the dancers specialize not only technically but spiritually to face the works in the best possible way.

The dancers within our company have studied different rhythms to be considered one of the most versatile companies in the country. Currently the company has 16 dancers nationwide and some neighboring countries.

The members of the company during the two years of their career have made different audiovisual projects with social themes and showing dances performed within the preparation of the dancers.

The first show of our company “I’m dying to be me” was held in four cities in the country: Santa Cruz, La Paz, Tarija and Cochabamba

In the city of Tarija and Santa Cruz the complete show was presented. “I’m dying to be me,” the same one who tells us real stories that take us to another dimension that invites us to recognize and honor the souls of each person where you and I are one.

It deals with issues of discrimination in all its possible forms within society, reaching out to touch the souls of its protagonists both in the show and in real life. It is an inner search about what we are doing wrong in our lives and in the lives of others.

• In the city of La Paz, with the organization “ARTE BOLIVIA” a mini excerpt of our show “I’m dying to be me” was made, where six of our members presented selected pieces of the show and it was presented at the First Experimental Festival “Viva el Art “with more than 1,000 artists together.
• The company has had the opportunity to participate in the international event “Inter Jazz Event” in the city of Cali-Colombia in charge of the dance school Be dance, where a member of the company could participate together with the director María Avilés, who She was invited as a jury and workshop within the event.
• dance company team Currently the company is preparing its next show called “Este soy yo”, which is a continuation of “I’m dying to be me”, where the problem of discrimination is resolved. It is expected that the new show can be presented at the end of 2019.

It was also held in April 2019, the tour with “Los Rookies” in Cochabamba, La Paz and Santa Cruz, at the Municipal Theater and Laredo Theater. This year, the company was the only guest on the “THE ROOKIES BOLIVIA TOUR” tour.

Currently the company is closing future projects with the French Alliance in Bolivia, who made the contact so that both companies work together.
