MININA DANCE PROGRAMS

The Minina Dance Programs brand is responsible for organizing events through dance programs with international teachers, inspired by the training, schools and universities where María Avilés (CEO) was formed.

One of the most successful programs is the Minina Summer Dance program that moves around 500 people, including dancers, teachers and the public each year.

In April of 2019, Minina Dance Programs brought as a scoop to “The Rookies”, world champions of The United Dance Organization (UDO) of the United Kingdom.

In addition to having already brought other scoops on previous occasions, such as dancers who have worked for artists such as Pharrel, Alicia Keys, Gwen Stefani, Luis Fonsi, including other international professors of high transcendence in the United States and Europe, who taught at the New York’s most recognized schools: Joffrey Ballet School, Broadway Dance Center, Peridance Capezio Center and Brickhouse.

On the other hand these same artists also worked for companies such as America’s Got Talent, Google, Youtube, Netflix, among others.

Currently, Minina Dance Programs has agreements with schools and dance programs in New York, which have already allowed the granting of the first scholarships to two of its graduates for the Joffrey Ballet School in the United States, an institution highly respected worldwide for its high quality, professionalism and requirement with which he works.

Minina Summer Dance in a dance program that functions as a camp / boarding school / dance university in Bolivia. This program began on December 3, 2014 with the aim of training any dancer who wants to get to prepare professionally abroad, requires audition to participate.

The program has several professional and international instructors, plus two or three local teachers in each management. These professors come from New York, Los Angeles, Chile, Venezuela and Argentina and Bolivia to teach, with an average of 310 hours computed in hours, without counting the surprises or rehearsal classes.

These teachers and choreographers are active today in the professional world of dance in the United States and the United Kingdom. They danced for Pharell, Alicia Keys, Jessie J, Gwen Stefani, Luis Fonsi, America’s Got Talent, Google, Netflix, L’Oreal, Samsung, Ralph Lauren, Janet Jackson Tribute at Hip-Hop Awards, Urban Outfitters, Jennifer Hudson, Blvgari, Dana Foglia Dance and much more …

MDP works with a variety of students from different dance styles and stories. Our students come from all over Bolivia, for example, our 2014/15 group included students from Tarija, Santa Cruz and Bermejo. Our 2016-2017 group included dancers from La Paz, Santa Cruz, Argentina and Tarija. And our 2017-2018 included dancers from Sucre, Santa Cruz, La Paz, Tarija and Argentina. This Summer Dance Minina is open to all parts of the country and other countries.

Minina Winter Dance is an appetizer of the quality and classes that take in the Summer Dance, but with the difference that it has a lower intensity and is shorter. It is designed for all audiences and audition is not required.

The workload is from 18 to 36 hours and includes certificates of participation, as long as the program is carried out in its entirety. The duration is one week with 2 classes a day or 4 classes a day of 90 minutes each (schedules have a choice).

Minina Winter Dance is a mix of a Minina Workshops (short time) to have fun and learn, mixed with Minina Summer (intensive long time) to sacrifice everything for dance and train as warriors for our happiness.

For cities and neighboring countries, free accommodation is offered in the city of Tarija.

Minina Dance Workshops is the latest format in the Minina Dance Programs. International professors arrive who along with their director María Avilés, travel through different cities staying for a day or a maximum of 3 days, teaching one or even three styles to the dancer.

Generally it lasts a weekend and the classes are 1 hour and 30 min. It is open to all local, national or international dancers of all ages, for free cities and neighboring countries offers free accommodation in the city of Tarija.

Discounts are made for groups over five people.

The Minina Dance Workshops just finished on April 19, 2019, received dancers from different dance schools in Tarija, of different ages and styles of dance, taking into account that dancers from the city of Potosí, Yacuiba and Salta -Argentina also attended the events of the company.
